Description

Kamishiro Homura is a hero who once by himself exterminated the another world invader that destroyed the military all over the world. However his extreme strength made the influential people ostracized and exiled him from the society with false accusation of [Traitor] attached to him. A few years after that, for an unspecified reason Homura entered the magician academy and he looked after the girls that were ridiculed as the [burden platoon]…!? This is the raise of the curtain of a fantasy tale of the unrivaled and invincible young man where not a single ally or enemy can keep up with him, the young man who sooner or later will be extolled as the messiah by the whole human race!

  1. What an absolute mess of a translation. No possible way this isn’t a fan translation. The novel is just as bad as the synopsis above, translation wise.

  2. says the comments here. I dont really know if I will try to read this but is this worth reading? I am also concerned with the previous comment that this has a bad translation. Yet seeing that it has reached this number of volumes. I am asking if this is a fun read.

  3. Poggers. Thank you for making this epub. Also, for anyone possibly passing by, this is a good translation.

    > [Volume 1, Part 2]
“Stop making useless resistance. If you do that then I will kill you
    painlessly.”
The Tokyo life sphere’s bay coast area, the abandoned harbor warehouse.
At the wharf where no sounds could be heard except the splashing sounds of
the waves when it turned into night, there was the commanding voice of a girl
    ringing out.

Useless resistance could have been replaced by futile resistance, but they mean the same thing, so no biggie.

As for it being crappy novel, this novel is a crappy novel (by literature standards).

There is a reason isekai novels are banned from entering literature contests.

Of course, it doesn’t mean its worthless.

Isekai novels were banned because they were usually power fantasies that failed to make an impact on their readers, which is one of the criteria of a good book.

They were just cool, that was their only selling point.

And that’s just the way isekai novels are written.

A fun way to pass the time, reading things that don’t really mean anything to you.

@Mion Milla I haven’t read any other copies, but if there is a translation error, its probably because the direct translation doesn’t make any sense and the translator had to creatively interpret the word to save the story.

To demonstrate, I’ll quote one of DLsite’s direct translations of “SEQUEL awake”.
(This is from a Japanese eroge):

    > I feel my energy and the raging storm inside of me leaving.
    > After a great sense of satisfaction and fatigue,
    > I was struck by a sudden sleepiness.
    > Kuruha squatted on my face, and covered her face against my loins.
    > Her fleshy hips pressed on me, and I can feel all energy leaving my body.

    > [covered her face against my loins]
This is where people should screw making direct translations and make their own interpretations of the story.

Japanese doesn’t always make sense in English.

    So yeah, end of rant.

  4. Good translation.

If you are skeptical, this is at the very least a manually edited machine translation.

(But I’m pretty sure it was manually translated)
