Arius has just been transported to the demon country of Guardial by the Demon King, Alanis, and she has a proposition for him which will help her stop the invasion from the Hero’s Alliance in its tracks. That proposition involves him fighting as her representative. Wanting to stop the invasion just as much as her, Arius accepts.
Later, when Arius is back in the Academy, Eric’s older sister, Princess Ellyse Stallion, unexpectedly returns to the capital after leaving the Great Granbride Empire and her fiancé, the crown prince. When Arius learns of her feelings, he realizes he can no longer ignore the romance scenes of Love Academy and makes the decision to travel to Granbride, pretending to be her boyfriend.
